Sacramento's Legendary Summer Startup Party is Back

Are you an entrepreneur, programmer, investor, or creative looking to connect to others like you and get connected to the organizations and people who can get your next big idea off the ground or otherwise just hang out and meet a bunch of great new like-minded people?

Presented by The Urban Hive, Startup Grind Sacramento, and Sac Tech Week, in partnership with The City of Sacramento, StartupSac, Startup Folsom, and SacTech Social (SacTech, Inc).

Founded in 2014 as a partnership between Startup Grind Sacramento and The Urban Hive, the Sacramento Summer Startup Party has been the region's premier summer gathering for founders, programmers, builders, investors, creatives and community leaders. We're back on Thursday, August 20 — and this year we're going big.

What to expect:

Food + Cash Bar: Light food included with your ticket. Cash bar all night.

Silent Pitch Competition: No stage. No mic. No nerves. Startups display a poster showcasing their idea, and attendees vote for their favorite throughout the evening. Two winners crowned at the end of the night — one chosen by judges, one chosen by the crowd — with $5,000+ in cash and in-kind prizes up for grabs, provided by The Urban Hive, Traction Labs, the Carlsen Center for Innovation, and more!. Free to participate for registered attendees.

Resource Expo: Discover the organizations, accelerators, programs, and resources fueling Sacramento's startup ecosystem. Tables are active from the time doors open until voting closes.

Open Mic: Ecosystem partners on the floor all night. Grab the mic anytime to point people to your table and get back to the party.

Door Prizes: Three Urban Hive memberships drawn from attendees who cast a vote. Must be registered to win.

After Party with SacTech Social: When the official event wraps, we're heading a block away to La Cosecha for the official after party, hosted by SacTech Inc.
