What we are
We provide you a place to go--an un-office if you will--to work, meet, collaborate, create and (yes) play. Think of it as a great company culture, just without the company. The Urban Hive offers shared workspaces, private offices, meeting rooms, conference rooms, a shared kitchen, blazing wi-fi, pressed coffee, regular networking, educational, and entertainment events and art gallery.
Who we are
We are a membership-based collective of people who are passionate about challenging the status-quo, who reject outdated modes of work and who believe in the power of human connection, collaboration, innovation and community. Our membership of nearly 100 now include people from half a dozen technology start-ups, Emmy Award-winning documentarians, an incubator for the arts, a handful non-profits, as well as dozens of designers, writers, creatives, entrepreneurs, artists, business professionals, educators and poets.
Where we are
Surroundings Matter. We operate out of a modern, urban-industrial space at the center of Midtown Sacramento, in the heart of the current cultural explosion that is happening in our city. Marked by old brick walls, soaring ceilings, concrete floors, steel tables, modern furniture and spectacular art. No, this is not your grandfather's office.

With the goal of providing the best work environment anywhere, we have created a space where ideas can be born, connections can be made, projects can take flight, and community can be fostered.

We have created this space because we believe in the power of human connection, that great things come through collaboration and networks, that driven and creative people need to be inspired by their surroundings and the people around them.
