What?

We provide you a place to go--an un-office if you will--to work, meet, collaborate, create and (yes) play. Think of it as a great company culture, just without the company. The Urban Hive offers shared workspaces, private offices, meeting rooms, conference rooms, a shared kitchen, blazing wi-fi, pressed coffee, regular educational and entertainment events, and a curated, art adorned gallery, with the works of some of Sacramento's best artists. ​​​

Who?

We are a membership-based collective of people who are passionate about challenging the status-quo, who reject outdated modes of work and who believe in the power of human connection, collaboration, innovation and community. Our members include Emmy Award-winning documentarians, an incubator for the arts, half a dozen technology start-ups and non-profits, as well as dozens of designers, writers, creatives, entrepreneurs, artists, business professionals, educators and poets.

Where?

Surroundings Matter. We operate out of a modern, urban-industrial space at the center of Midtown Sacramento, in the heart of the current cultural explosion that is happening in our city. Marked by old brick walls, soaring ceilings, concrete floors, steel tables, modern furniture and spectacular art. No, this is not your grandfather's office.​

We have created this space because we believe in the power of human connection, that great things come through collaboration and networks, that creative people need to be inspired by their surroundings and the people around them. We know that the traditional office stifles creativity, innovation and human connection. And we think that you deserve more. ​​
